This project proposed a new conceptual guest house for a permanent family as host and a temporary traveler as guest.

The two units of the house were envisioned to be merged together to create an integrated part of the dwelling that could aid in further cultural exchange and natural bonding between the two parties.

While keeping focus on the integrated part, we also aimed at maintaining the various levels of privacy for each unit. We proposed a dining table as the aid to facilitate the cultural exchange and a filter layer of intelligent glass partition that can alter opacity by remote control.

Various functional scenarios of the flexibility of the spaces were also proposed along with 2 future possibilities.
